Over the last decade, the spring has almost always been the busiest time of the year on my training calendar. So much so, in fact, that up to 50% of my open enrollment courses in any given year have often taken place between the beginning of March and the End of June.

There are several “accepted” flashlight techniques that are taught for utilizing a powerful compact flashlight in conjunction with a firearm. Traditional combination techniques result in several things that I feel are detrimental to efficiency, consistency and effectiveness and thereby make us less safe.
